JOY

We often chase happiness as if it’s a destination. A better job, a new relationship, the next milestone—that’s where joy must be hiding. But joy doesn’t wait at the finish line. It lingers in the everyday: the warmth of sunlight, a funny meme, a genuine laugh with a friend.

Joy is small, fleeting, ordinary—and that’s what makes it powerful. It doesn’t require achievement or approval. It only requires attention. When you train your eyes to notice it, life feels less heavy, even in difficult times.

Don’t confuse joy with constant positivity. It’s not about ignoring pain. It’s about letting small sparks of delight coexist with struggle. Collect those sparks. Write them down, savour them, remember them when the days feel darker. Joy isn’t rare—it’s just often overlooked.
