For us millennials, a panda was introduced as a symbol of hope and resilience. But, it gave the most important message - accept and believe in yourself.
Like most stories, odds are stacked against him but he still dreams. He dreams not to be the most handsome, charming and fierce warrior in China. He dreams to be his version of a hero - a kind, righteous, calm protector. Part of a big family.
This movie and some childhood memories of a Panda have made a connection between a Panda and peace in my head. Pandas are cute and so loved, and it seems that all they have to do is eat, sleep and enjoy their existence. We as humans tend to overdo 2 of the 3 things to extremes. So much so that they have a deadly sin associated with them - gluttony and sloth.
But, do we enjoy our existence? Yes. Umm, no. Wait.. maybe.
Maybe it isn’t that simple..!
This blog is my space to write about the problems one faces and what impact they have on the mind. My interpretation of how we can enjoy our existence and maybe why, at times, not enjoying it helps us savor the good times even better!
