When your mind is heavy, your body often knows what to do. Movement is medicine. It doesn’t have to be a marathon. A short walk, stretching your arms, dancing badly in your room—all of it counts. Movement shifts energy. It tells your brain: we’re not stuck. So much of mental struggle is about feeling trapped in the same loop. Moving breaks the loop. Endorphins aside, it gives you momentum. Small motion outside creates small motion inside. Don’t wait until you “feel like it.” Move first, the feeling follows. Your body isn’t separate from your mind—it’s your mind’s first ally.
