IMPERFECT

We chase perfection like it’s the standard for worth. Perfect body, perfect career, perfect responses. But perfection is sterile—it has no cracks, no texture, no story. Imperfection is where life breathes. It’s the scar that reminds you of survival, the nervous laugh that makes you real, the flaws that make you human.

Why do we fear showing imperfection? Because we confuse it with weakness. But imperfection builds connection. When someone admits they don’t have it all together, we lean in. We trust them more, not less. The irony is, what we try hardest to hide is what usually brings us closer.

Accepting imperfection doesn’t mean giving up. It means recognising that flaws and mistakes don’t erase your worth—they add to it. A cracked mug still holds coffee. A flawed day still has value. Instead of spending energy polishing your image, spend it living your truth. You’ll find that the people who matter don’t love the perfect version of you—they love the imperfect, human one.
