SERIOUSLY

Do we really need to attach finality to every outcome—good or bad? A success feels like we are on top of the world. And a failure feels like it ends us as if we are eternally damned. But life isn’t made of permanent stamps. It’s a flow, much like the one with our emotions, always shifting, always moving forward. Taking everything seriously weighs you down. That one job rejection doesn’t mean you’re unworthy. That one argument doesn’t mean the relationship is broken beyond repair.

Try to strike a balance. Don’t move to extremes. As humans, we tend to land to conclusions very quickly. Basic human nature. Ask the question - why/how to understand it better. This rewires your reaction to the incident or the thought. This one step can help get rid of the finality. Good or bad - it can be fatal. A good outcome or success, you can get complacent. A failure, you can write off the effort in an instance. But, it isn’t final. Life is long and has infinite possibilities. Breathe. Be a little less serious. Don’t associate finality, seriously.
